I've Been Everywhere Man, I've Been Everywhere

Our final entry about our extra stretch.  We made it 6,200 miles and made many more memories. While we reached our last days exhausted and less enthusiastic we appreciated every moment that we spent seeing the great U.S.A.

Who knew that Ohio KOA would have most fantastic campsites...just outside of Cleveland.  We had prepared ourselves for a loud parking lot near the highway but instead we were tucked away in the woods in the quiet little town of Streetsboro just 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland. 

Back to why we would cut through Ohio to get home...

And to finish off our tour of the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, we inspected Johnny Cash's tour bus.  Memories are strong here.

Cleveland wouldn't be complete without swinging by the house from "A Christmas Story."  Our family loves this film and we watch it way too much!

Last night on the road...what else but to feast on all of our rotting and water logged food.  After dinner we played board games and then quickly called it a night when we had an assertive raccoon visitor.  He helped himself to the dish rack after we went to bed...in case we missed any crumbs.

We had one more trailer glitch...quite the side effect from getting a bigger trailer.  We didn't think it through when we loaded it up good and tight and then couldn't lift it onto the hitch.  No problem with the old one, so not the content's weight but trailer weight.  To add we were on a ledge and one wrong move gravity would make our early morning work a bit harder.
